Paragliding

these are pictures taken on my first paragliding trip (finally able to upload after two weeks of oops-failed-to-upload-again-what-else-should-i-try killing hours).....

views from the paraglider take-off point ~ the river-surrounded-carey island, street of malacca, ship and local villages ~ all are breathtaking. while taking these pictures, the jugra hill lighthouse was at the back of me. btw, this is also one of the spots where sighting of the moon to determine the month of ramadhan and syawal in Malaysia is performed every year.

had always wanted to do it (paragliding) before. God willing ~ would not be my last.

PS: it was not morning-mist or error of my camera, the haze originated from the sumatera forest fire...in case anyone wonders...

just what is not right

still cannot believe have wasted one week trying to figure out how the search engine works!

while the blog was out of whack, I texted my two good frens, Shrfh and Sry, and talked them into blogging. apparently am not good at it (talking people into something). on a positive note, Shrfh asked me to get mine started so that she could take a look (I truly hope she would consider my point after taking a look)...

anyway, got a strong feeling the chance they ll change their mind (to start blogging) at this moment is as remote as the time we ve been able to make for having tea together for the past 20 years.....

gals, i know you two are xtremely busy and fyi i too do have more serious errands to run BUT if i don't start doing something different m definitely going bananas...

and also, this girl, Azra, been xchanging texts with me after mid nite for the past one week.....i know she is an insomniac just like I am......but she is only nine and some 350 km apart...communicating by any means is not helping (to sleep) at all...

got to start finding out what is not right...

m actually an IT-retard.

by God's grace two years back I came across a blog of a funny saudi telling stories of life in Saudi Arabia. he had stopped blogging by the time I discovered his blog but the blog was still there and I read all his entries. whether he made the stories up or they were real (some were ~ I made the effort to confirm!), the way he carried himself presenting them was classy - i smile every time thinking about the blog.

a blogger fren, Ain, suggested I start blogging. before I said anything she told me she knew my answer - the first sentence, not the title, of this entry echoes!!!!! -

after giving it some thoughts....... m telling myself why not.......may lighten someone's heart the way the saudi's had done mine.......
